Late in 2011 I sent out a Survey to ask past and present customers what they thought about me and the DJ Mikey brand. 
I have posted the questions, ratings and some of the comments below.  I also created a separate category of comments that were made by my friends who thought they were “FUNNY”…

• You did a great job. A lot of people were asking how I found you. We had fun and the guests were all happy. Also, the script you wrote for the ceremony was fun and sincere.
• DJ Mikey was pro-active in working with us to understand our needs, our attendee preference, the timing of our event and the special needs that only he could provide us. He was very professional but also very fun and very personable.

When you hear “DJ MIKEY” what is the main idea that comes to your mind

Is there anything about what I do that makes me unique from other DJ’s you have seen?

• I have hired DJ’s during my career for various events and found many DJ’s have LARGE egos or ATTITUDES. Some DJ’s get bugged if you ask them to adjust the sound level and some get too friendly with the attendees when it is not appropriate . DJ Mikey is great to work with and he can please anyone from any age group when it comes to the music selection.
• Has a great personality! Makes you want to get up and dance! You get more than you pay for, DJ Mikey is the way to go.
• You played a great selection of music and there was always someone on the dance floor
• You are very personable and approachable! You make everyone feel comfortable
• The fact thast you make the job you are doing at the time as if it were for your own family (Sorry, one of my favorites)
• You care and listen and personalize everythying!
• You are not one of those talk too much until you are annoying DJ’s
• You dressed for the occasion. Some look very shabby and that is a turn off to clients
• You actually listen to requests and play them. I’ve been in countless situations where DJ’s won’t sway from their playlist. You also had ANY song we asked for. THAT was impressive.
• Awesome music collection. Did not stump him on any request
• You like to BRING the party. Other DJ’s want to get paid and leave

What Do You Like Most About DJ Mikey, his services and how he provides that service to his customers?

• It was awesome to find someone to marry us and DJ in the same package. It was such a bonus to find someone with a great and humorous personality that actually KNEW what he was doing! His services were great and all of my unmarried friends want to use him for their weddings. MY best friend actually booked him
• Seems to love what he does and that makes everyone feel good
• Mike is a ton of fun and does a great job
• I actually got to enjoy my wedding reception and did not have to babysit the DJ. He had everything under control at all times
• The dance floor always had someone on it. He also made sure that we were the most important people on our big day
• Very real and personable! Some of the DJ’s during my search were “douchy” and obviously trying to sell me on their most fabulous packages. People can see through bullcrap like that. Mike was straight up, funny and did an awesome job.
• A straight up, no B.S. guy that knows his business. Very Accomodating and reliable
• Very GOOD people person. Our rehearsal was so relaxing. We actually had fun at our rehearsal. I never thought it could be fun practicing for our big day.
• You are the best overall DJ. Sure other DJ’s have fancier equipment, but that is just a cover because they suck!
